Privacy Policy for Cash Box

Last Updated: 10/11/2025

Effective Date: 10/11/2025

Cash Box  is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android mobile application ("Cash Box") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our service.

By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the data practices described, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, improve, and secure our services, and for the specific purposes outlined below.

a) Personal Data

We do not collect any personal data that you directly enter into the App, such as your financial records, transactions, or any other information you input. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted  or shared with any third parties.

b) Automatically Collected Device Information

When you use the App, we and our third-party partners may collect certain information automatically for analytics and advertising purposes. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include:

Device and Connection Information: Device type (e.g., manufacturer, model), operating system version, screen size, mobile carrier, and unique device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID).

Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as features you use, session duration, and crash logs.

Approximate Location: General location information (e.g., country or city) derived from your IP address.

c) On-Demand Permission: Microphone

The App requests permission to access your device's microphone only when you explicitly choose to use the voice input feature. Audio data from your microphone is processed in real-time on your device for speech-to-text conversion to enter data. This audio data is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third parties. The permission is requested on-demand and can be revoked by you at any time in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To Provide and Maintain the App: To ensure the core functionality of the App works correctly.

Analytics: To understand how users interact with the App, analyze trends, and improve performance and user experience.

Advertising: To display personalized advertisements within the App. We use the Google Advertising ID and other device information for this purpose, in compliance with Google's policies.

Troubleshooting: To diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using the information described above depends on the information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.

Legitimate Interests: We process non-personal device data and analytics based on our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing our App, and ensuring it functions as expected.

Consent: For personalized advertising, we rely on your consent, which is obtained through the Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated into the App, as required by the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework and GDPR. You have the right to withdraw your consent for personalized ads at any time through the App's settings or your device settings.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share the automatically collected device information with the following third parties:

Analytics Partners: Such as Google Firebase, to help us analyze how the App is used.

Advertising Networks: Such as Google AdMob, to serve relevant ads to you and measure their effectiveness.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data Retention

We retain the automatically collected device information (as described in Section 1b) for a maximum period of 90 days. After this period, the data is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers and the servers of our third-party partners.

Due to the automated nature of this deletion process and the fact that the data is non-personal and pseudonymized (using identifiers like the Advertising ID), we do not offer a mechanism for manual data deletion requests. The 90-day retention policy is applied universally to all data.

6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have certain rights. However, given the nature of the data we collect (non-personal, pseudonymized, and automatically deleted), some rights may not be fully applicable. We describe your rights below in the context of our App:

The Right to Access: You can request information about the personal data we hold about you. As we do not hold personal data you directly enter, this primarily relates to device identifiers.

The Right to Rectification: You can update any inaccurate personal data.

The Right to Erasure (The "Right to be Forgotten"): You can request that we delete your personal data. As stated, all data is automatically deleted after 90 days. You can also reset your Google Advertising ID on your device, which effectively anonymizes the data we collect.

The Right to Restrict Processing: You can request that we temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data.

The Right to Object to Processing: You can object to the processing of your personal data, particularly for direct marketing (personalized advertising).

The Right to Data Portability: This right is not applicable as we do not collect personal data you provide that is portable.

The Right to Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on consent (e.g., for personalized ads), you can withdraw it at any time. This can be done through the consent dialog in the App or by changing your device settings.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information, primarily non-personal device data, may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that any such transfers are based on GDPR-approved mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.

8. Children's PrivacyThe App is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify
you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
